How I wake up my skin in the morning!

Sometimes I wake up in the morning and my skin feels dull and lifeless, I use these couple of products to give me a pick me up to kick start my skin!
Picture
Fresh vegetable pack by Nature Republic, this is magic gel! It's stored in the fridge so when you apply it you get an instant wake up call, the nutrients in the formula give a nourishing and hydrated feel which I absolutely love! Leave on for 10 minutes and then simply rinse off

I keep "Gel" under eye patches in the fridge as well to really open up and get rid of any puffiness under my eyes. These Hydro gel recovery patches from Ulta are excellent to add to the morning wake up routine. With these two products combined you'll feel refreshed in the morning, no matter how much sleep you did or didn't get!

NARS Wanted Eyeshadow Palette review

So this week I got my hands on NARS new eye shadow palette "Wanted" this is a collection of 12 eye shadows with both matte and shimmer shades. At first glace I absolutely loved the packaging but I thought it seemed smaller than what I was anticipating. The first time I wore the colors I tried to wear as many as possible and I was absolutely blown away, they have a high color pay off with little to no fall out. I suggest using a dense packing brush to apply the shimmery shades to avoid as much fallout as possible. I love the matte shades for a simpler look but it's so easy to add the shimmer across your lid for a fun look. The eye shadows themselves are creamy and blend easily. I feel like this is a great collection of colors for the cooler holiday season and the shade range allows for many different looks. If you're in the market for a new shadow palette I highly recommend "Wanted", it retails for $60 which is definitely on the pricey side but for a professional brand and which such great color pay off, I can definitely recommend this!

For those of you who don't know Pantone announces a color of the year every year, this is often an influential guideline for fashion, beauty and home design. This year the chosen color is "Ultra Violet" as seen above. So I decided to put together a list my favorite purple toned beauty products. Let me know yours in the comments section!
Picture
Color Pop's "Fantasy" Is a high shine, cream-powder pigment, this product is great to use for a smoldering smokey eye look. $5.00

Picture
Lime Crime's "Posh" Metallic Velvetine lip stick is definitely a bold look but the metallic shine through-out makes it an extremely wearable lip color. $15

Picture
I am totally obsessed with Color Pops "Moon Lit" Supernova eyeshadow! This cosmic looking shadow, is ultra glittery and the application wand is such a cool idea, this can be used as a stand alone product or a topper over a black smoky eye. $7.00

Picture
Love him or hate him, Jeffery Star knows color, this Skin Frost in the color "Neffree" gives you an ethereal glow, my favorite thing about this is that you can use it wet or dry and application can be used anywhere on the body. $29.00

Makeup is like food, there comes a time when it goes bad and although you may not have finished the product, health wise you're better off tossing it as to prevent bacteria infections!

Some people are blessed with long eye lashes and others not so much! With so many serums on the market, some being $100 plus I decided to create my own little formula using only three ingredients, my sister tried this and has gotten great results, so why not give it a try? Let me know in the comments if you try this and how it works for you after a few weeks of use.

Ingredients
Castor oil
Vitamin E oil
Aloe Vera Gel

Method
Mix all three in a small jar and apply every night with a disposable mascara wand and then massage into the root of the eyelash

Stress Relief tips!

Sometimes life can get the best of us and we wind up feeling overwhelmed and stressed out, here are 3 tips that definitely help me calm down.

1. Yoga
I find that 10 minutes of yoga a day can seriously improve my mood as well as make me feel more energetic. I usually browse Youtube for different styles to suit my progress, online free classes are great if you don't have the time or disposable income for classes.

2. Meditation
My absolute fav, cannot live without app is called "Relax Melodies" an app that has meditations and sounds that can be completely customized to your needs, I have the paid version but the free version is great to try out. I find that by using certain breathing techniques and through visualization I can calm myself and prepare for a good nights sleep

3.Essential Oils
One of the best purchases I've made was a humidifier along with some essential oils, lavender being my favorite especially at night. Bath and body works has a great selection of aromatherapy items, from stress relief to concentration
